Queen Esther in Paraguay

And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
Esther 4:14

Like Queen Esther, the young girls from Quiquiyo at the El Hogar have a beautiful calling, and God blessed us with the opportunity to witness His plans and be part of their journey.

Words cannot possibly explain the amaziness (if that even a word) that God did in the lives of these beautiful girls and in our lives during our visit.  He showed us His grace and did miracles.

First, they welcomed us with so much love, so much joy, so many hugs, and many of “I love you’s”.  Each of these precious girls have a beautiful story, a life blossoming to His reflection, a love for God and journey to explore.

Between English lessons, worship, playing soccer,
baking cookies, doing art, catching chickens, and climbing trees…. God unveiled their hearts and showed us their gifts, their dreams, their hopes…

We also saw their pain, their fears, their regrets… BUT with His grace and mercy, He began to unveil beautiful treasures, and we were blessed to see His glory.

Allow us to share about these beautiful " Queen Esther's" in Paraguay.

Mili wants to be a military soldier…
But she often feels very sad and lonely She wants a father to love her, to embrace her, to protect her…
In the mist of praying and being discipled, in  tears she discovered that she is already a soldier and has the best Father one can ever have.  Her weapon: a sword, the Word of God.  She was given verses from God to share specifically, and she blessed us with His Word.  She is ready to fight;  encouraged and ready share with many that her Father is King and loves her and them very much.

Silvana knows she is called for big things, many people tell her this ….
but confused she felt like she didn't deserve it.   There was so much pain locked up inside her heart so she built a strong wall that wouldn't let the Truth and Promises of God penetrate in.  She hid this pain so well so it will not hurt anyone anymore…not her, nor her family, nor people she loves… but it was hurting her instead.
When she discovered it, we burnt the shame as a offering to God, to Jesus, and asked Him to break the bondage that was holding her back.  She soon discovered that she is a natural leader.  She was quickly used by God to serve the poor in the villages nearby.

Carmen wants to teach and encourage other girls…
She has deeps wounds that have been healed by God’s grace, but does not know how to use these as a learning lesson to other girls who my need it.  Through prayer and discipleship, she is given the tools to help others break their chains…for Gods’ kingdom.

Their lives are nothing but perfection, God's beauty

Fermina wants to be beautiful.  Through studying Proverbs 31 she learned that a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

And Christina,
She taught us about a Virtuous Woman.   One who is NOT afraid to work with her hands as she herself rolled up her sleeves, grabbed a chainsaw, and cut lumber for the wood stove that night.  She takes care of the plumbing and electrical needs; put up fences and will heal your twisted ankle.  She is being equipped not just with the Word but with life skills, domestic needs and healings to serve her country.

Then there is Miriam, who will smile at you every time she sees you, but laugh at you if you fall.  She will climb the tree to get you a tangerine but don't be surprise if some of them fall on your head. She will throw the ball up high and fight with others, move them out of the way, so she can stretch her arms and show you that she can catch the ball the best.

And Bea; she would run circles around you, trick you, stick her tongue at you, and smile as she runs away. She is a beautiful fearless warrior ready to blossom to a true mighty women of God; the kind of soldier that would cross borders to deliver Bibles and rescue the oppressed.

Jasmine so filled with joy and love….

She would dance for you to make you smile.  Her beautiful dimples will make your heart melt. She will wrapped her arms around you to remind you that you are loved.

There is so many more stories….
I can go on and on… but tears will fill this page instead of writing.

Before I left, God blessed me with this, and I want to share with you:

“I want you so see My love from the outside in; from a different angle…; in South America; in this little town called Quiquiyo, a ministry filled with little girls, princess, like Eshter, whom I love.

He wanted me to see their smile, their hopes, and their dreams…. He wanted me to see how chains can be broken through His love, and how His children will blossom when they experience His grace.

He wanted us to see the smiling faces, the great joy they hold wrapped around their little heart; the love that has been given to them; a love that so easily pours out and showers you the minute they meet you ... because Jesus has shared this with them.

And He wanted us to be part of the journey…

He wanted us to see, that like Queen Esther, these young girls have been called, rescued, trained, loved, and prepared… for such a time as this.

May they fill your heart with joy as well.
