Bye bye Rocio

Rocio's 5-month stay in California came to an end early this morning, as she boarded the plane to begin the long journey back to Paraguay. Last Thursday we had a goodbye dinner for her with our Spanish Bible Study.

We prayed for her and asked God to help her implement all the things she learned here when she goes back to the Home:

 
We also had a fundraiser brunch on Saturday with amazing Paraguayan food:

And we even recorded a short interview where she talks about the plans for the Training Center at the Home (video soon to be posted!)

All in all, a great send off but a sad one, nonetheless. We'll miss you, Rocio, but we'll see you soon in September when we go to Quyquyho!

A mix of newcomers and old-schoolers, here's the team that will be going to El Puente Home in Paraguay this September!

Training Center Update

The Training Center at El Puente Home is expected to be finished in about a month. There are still some funds needed to complete the electrical part, as well as getting furniture, supplies, teaching materials, etc. But after that, it should be ready to receive volunteers!
