Thanks to the generosity of our friends and coworkers, we were able to send a little bit of money to the Home with Rocio. With it, Osvaldo purchased this awesome "Transporter 200" motorcycle:
Osvaldo's truck was having frequent mechanical problems, so this motorcycle will be hugely helpful. Especially to transport supplies to the Home within town.
"That's how I'll take all of you guys to school from now on," Osvaldo teased the girls.
"After driving in a truck, there's no way I'm downgrading to a motorcycle!" replied one of the little ones.
Huge thanks to everyone who keeps supporting El Puente Home!

El Puente Home is a girls' orphanage in the beautiful village of Quyquyho, Paraguay. We are a team from Calvary Chapel Mountain View who went to the Home for the first time in 2012. We gave classes and presentations on a variety of subjects: English, Music, Arts and Crafts, Life Skills, Computer Lessons and Bible Studies. Since then, we have formed deep friendships with the girls at the Home and the people of Quyquyho, and we are committed to continue to visit and support it.

First classes in the Training Center and Garage Sale
The Training Center is not 100% finished but that hasn't stopped the girls from having their first classes there.
In other news, we had our first garage sale today to raise funds for the Home. It went really well; we raised over $700! Thanks to everyone who stopped by or donated items!
And here they are with their newly donated backpacks:
